Quote / Testimonial:
Ludham and Stalham Green Surgeries are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children who come into contact with the services provided, either directly or indirectly.
We do this by following these core principles:
- The welfare of the child is paramount.
- All staff employed or contracted by the practice, or volunteering in the practice have a duty to safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
- All work with children and families will be conducted in an open and transparent way.
- The views, wishes and feeling of the child will be listened to and considered.
- Professional standards apply regardless of culture, disability, gender, age, language, racial origin, religion and/ or sexual identity.
Non-urgent advice: Confidentiality and information sharing
We recognise the importance of confidentiality at all times. Sometimes it may be more important to break confidentiality and to share information in the best interests of a child who has suffered significant harm or who is at risk of significant harm. We will always do what is best for the child. If a young person talks to us about a problem we will always take this seriously.
